Goodman Foundation initiative raises
€3.66 million for Ukraine humanitarian crisis

The Goodman Foundation has announced today that the audit has concluded of its fundraising initiative in response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine with a total of €3.66 million donated The figure includes €328,200 donated by the livestock farming community, suppliers of goods and services and work colleagues of ABP Food Group and Parma Group.

The €328,200 is being matched by the Goodman Foundation and is in addition to the €3 million donated in March to our three charity partners - UNICEF, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Peter Power, Executive Director, UNICEF Ireland, said: “UNICEF greatly appreciates the substantial support of the Goodman Foundation to support our emergency humanitarian relief effort in Ukraine. In doing so the Goodman Foundation, along with ABP Food Group and Parma Group, have demonstrated a strong humanitarian commitment to the people of Ukraine. At the very beginning of the crisis when UNICEF sought to rapidly expand our operations in Ukraine the Goodman Foundation stepped up and this has helped improve the lives of many thousands of people.”

The Goodman Foundation would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported this initiative and further to acknowledge the exceptional effort of the three charity partners in their response to the invasion of Ukraine.
